Unveiling the Future of Fixed Operations: Price Family Dealerships’ Innovative Journey!

At Price Family Dealerships, we’ve always believed that our Fixed Operations (Fixed Ops) department is the heart of our business – a strong backbone, ensuring the smooth functioning and efficiency of our daily enterprise.

This summer, we’ve taken an innovative approach to enhance our customer service and employee engagement, and initiated an exciting contest to recognize the dedication and expertise of our Service Advisors and Technicians. At the heart of this contest is the Video MPI (Multi-Point Inspection) – a unique initiative where customers receive a detailed video inspection of their vehicle, delivered right to their phone. The passion and creativity of our teams can be witnessed in these videos, all of which are available for viewing on our Tech dedicated website.

To help kick off the contest, CEO Nick Price personally delivered the prize-winning checks to our star performers at Toyota Sunnyvale, Toyota Marin, and Land Rover Marin. And the highlight? Willie Zhang, who bagged the Grand Prize of $5,000 this month!

By introducing this friendly competition, we’ve noticed a surge in creativity from our teams. We like to have FUN and believe that gamifying new initiatives helps to make them more engaging and raises our bar of success. The monthly contest not only recognizes the top video inspections chosen by our Service Directors but also includes a “People’s Choice” award … this special category allows our family – the employees – to vote for their favorite video each month.

The biggest win, however, is the trust and transparency we build with our customers. The digital era demands transparency more than ever, and with these video inspections, we bring our customers closer to their vehicles. They can see, understand, and decide based on visual evidence about their vehicle’s needs. The result? Happy customers and vehicles that receive the best care possible!
